How to make a bathroom look more luxurious

There are many things you can do to make your bathroom look more expensive and luxurious without blowing your budget or doing major renovations. 

 

1. To start with, don’t use the toilet brush as a décor item.
2. Get fluffy towels.
3. Add a nice guest towel embroidered with your initials or a holiday theme.
4. If you don’t have artwork, add a framed botanical print.
5. Splurge on a nice waste bin, soap pump and tissue box
6. Have fixed accessories – i.e. paper holder and towel bars
7. Keep countertop items to a minimum.
8. Change out a standard light fixture to a gorgeous one.
9. Using a white, waffle shower curtain feels clean and hospitable.
10. If you have room for it, use a nice area rug, not a “bath” rug.
11. Use a nice soap in a calming scent like lavender
12. Finally, don’t forget a diffuser with a rich smelling scent like sandalwood or my favorite Le Labo Santal 33!
