How to brighten a windowless bathroom

Brightening up a windowless bathroom can be a challenging task, but it’s definitely possible with the right design and decor choices. Here are some ideas to make your windowless bathroom feel brighter and more inviting:

  1. Light, neutral colors – In general, bright, light colors make a space feel bigger and more inviting. Paint the room all one color or cover the walls in a bright printed wallpaper.

  1. Lighting – Select a beautiful overhead light fixture and add sconces to either side of your bathroom mirror. This combination of task lighting and ambient light will create a well-lit space. Choose LED bulbs in a warm white.

  1. Plumbing fixtures – Spend a little more on quality, decorative plumbing fixtures. Try unexpected finishes like a polished brass faucet. One trend we are excited about is a wider range of colors for toilets, sinks, and tubs! Those will definitely make things more exciting and brighter!

  1. Add some drama – Try a black vanity or go bold with a vanity color in a high-gloss, lacquer finish with a light color countertop. Another unexpected way to add drama and interest is to add a patterned or textured wallpaper to the ceiling. Also, use your collected art and photos and make each wall a gallery wall.

By implementing these tips, you can transform your windowless bathroom into a brighter and more inviting space. The key is to use design elements to create an illusion of space and brightness.
