Televisions! You can’t live with them. You can’t live without them. It is always challenging to balance the living room design aesthetics with functionality. This is true especially when the living room includes a potential eyesore – the television. Concealing the TV with custom millwork is probably the best answer for several reasons. The TV is easily accessible and visible only when in use, providing a seamless look to the cabinetry. This way of concealing the TV maximizes storage space as well, which is always a premium. We recommend contacting a local millwork artisan to create this look in your home.
The drawback of concealing the TV in sophisticated cabinet design is the expense of custom millwork. To circumvent this cost, a product our firm uses often is the Samsung Frame TV. The Frame is a slim format TV framed in a wood or metal of your choice. Samsung also provides a library of artwork to display on the TV when not in use. If NFTs are your thing, you can also display these or any other electronic image on the Frame. If you really need storage next to the TV, you can flank it with beautiful shelving.
