What is not to love about Maude Apatow’s kitchen décor? Our design firm is all about “the mix” and I love what I see in this kitchen. The trend of mixing of contrasting countertops is a “go”. I love the timeless classic look of the calacatta marble countertop mixed with other surface colors and textures in the room. The lighting, plumbing fixtures and overall look of the range wall is a nod to the traditional style, but Maude adds simple and slight touches of glam. Not so slight are the pink velvet counter stools and especially the painting of the two cats in wingback chairs on an animal print rug. These whimsical, feminine elements mix well with the other traditional elements making this kitchen more fun. Maude totally nails the mixing trend with this kitchen.
